December 2007 Press Release
A BIG THANK YOU!
That's the message from the Enkalon Motorcycle Club to all the people who attended the recent Show That Supports The Sport at the Antrim Forum.
We are delighted to be back with the show to the Antrim Forum and are looking forward to returning next year with an even bigger and better show.
Also a big thanks goes to all the trade stands, clubs, press, those who kindly donated their bikes for display, and everyone who helped to make the show a big success.
Due to the success of this years show we are delighted to be in the position once again, to put money into our sport by sponsoring the following events in 2008:
The Enkalon Trophy Race to be held at Bishopscourt on Easter Saturday 22nd March 2008. This will be the 32nd Enkalon Trophy race which is Ireland's longest-running short-circuit event. With no clash with BSB at Easter, we hope to have a top class entry.
Youth Division Motocross. We are glad to be back sponsoring motocross at youth level. Over the years we have seen a lot of today's motorcycling stars coming through this division- names like Martin Barr, Wayne Garrett, Graham Irwin and the 2007 Irish Motorcyclist of the Year, Jonathan Rea.
Loanends/Enkalon Support Series. The Enkalon Club always felt it was very important to support riders just starting out on their careers, so to this end are pleased to be able to join the Loanends Club in sponsoring the Support Class at all Ulster Road Races in 2008.
Dundrod 150. We are delighted to be involved in this years Dundrod 150 by sponsoring the Superbike Race. Last years race was one of the best races ever seen around the famous circuit of Dundrod and we would hope for a repeat performance next year.
And finally we are pleased to announce that we will also be giving financial support to the Hillsborough Club for their Sunflower Race at Bishopscourt..
